The Estimating Department has an immediate opening for a Senior Estimator.  The successful applicant will be the Lead Person in charge of the estimate.  Responsibilities will include developing bid strategies, site investigations, managing contacts, takeoffs, detailed breakdown of cost components, indirect cost and analysis of margins. The successful applicant will also be actively involved in Industry Associations.  The applicant should have a proven record of relationship building with owners, subcontractors and suppliers in their market place and should have a minimum of 5 years of heavy civil estimating and construction experience.   

The skills required for the job include learning Bid2Win Estimating systems, internal takeoff systems, knowledge base of construction productivity in areas of expertise, good communication skills on the phone, written and presentation.  The applicant should be well organized, innovative, a self-starter, efficient, a team player and be able to multi-task.  A college degree in construction management, engineering or related field is desirable, although not mandatory with solid experience.
