Job Description

This position will administer construction project(s) in IHC’s Midwest Division operating primarily in Michigan.  The PE will be responsible for project estimating, procurement and tracking materials.  The PE will have responsibility for all contract administrative duties for the project(s) assigned. This is to be accomplished in conjunction with practicing ethical business transactions, adhering to the corporate policies, values and beliefs while pursuing the company’s short and long range goals.

Qualifications

Intimate knowledge of project estimating, maintaing project costs, coordinating with superintendents, owener agencies and subcontractors.  Ordering materials, updating project schedules as required.   

Excellent people skills & works well with others – team player!

Self starter & educator

Possesses excellent organizational/coordination skills

Computer Skills must include:  Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/Access), P6 Scheduling and/or willingness to learn

Knowledge of Agtek and/or AutoCAD in 3D land modeling applications

Preferences

BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Experience with heavy highway construction

Experience with design/build
