Job Description

Project Accountant is accountable for monitoring the progress of projects, investigating variances, approving expenses, and ensuring that project billings are issued to customers and payments collected.

Duties include: duties will be executed at IHC’s customer location, located at the Denver International Airport.  Will report directly to the Project Manager / Division Manager (DM).  Responsible for: participating in Concourse C West Apron Expansion Project; supervising and registering the transactions of the construction project and presenting them in financial reports and analyzing the information, comparing to budget, prior forecasts and other benchmarks; making and recommending operational decisions based on that reporting; assuming total bottom line responsibility for the assigned project’s overhead, equipment, and profit margin while practicing ethical business transactions; adhering to the corporate policies and procedures, values and beliefs while pursuing the company’s long range goals as outlined in the Strategic Plan; coordinating the management and performance of all IHC’s resources required to construct IHC’s work items; optimizing performance on the margin line; and estimating functions, operational functions, administrative functions, equipment functions and personnel functions. 

Qualifications:

BS Degree in Accounting a must

Preferences

Experience with heavy highway construction

Experience with design/build

Bi-lingual Spanish/English a plus
