Construction background required, prefer paving or heavy/highway construction experience. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

 


Job Description

 

 

 

 

Primarily responsible for the proper orientation, cleaning and maintenance of the paver.  Also, directs the dump man/s and ground man/s timely and proper placement of concrete in front of the paver or into a spreader.  This is to be accomplished in the safest of manners.  As needed perform or train in basic administrative or field duties.  Other field duties as directed by immediate supervisor.  Understand all requirements of the slab being paved:

 

·         Edge slump

·         Vertical face

·         Pavement thickness

·         Stringline Offset

·         Profile Offset

·         Smoothness (profilograph)

·         Surface grout depth

·         Consolidation

·         Surface

 

  • Regional travel may be required.
  • Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid ID and drug testing required for all employees.
